And so I followed this tutorial to set up a cocky-building/repairing bridge:
I got information technology to work fully and everything, had to supervene upon the blocks behind the pistons that push out the newly created cobblestone because if the bridge was complete the pistons started moving themselves lol. Just aye, the bridge works perfectly with i problem: considering of the nature of the repeater clock, in one case you plough the bridge on you can't plough it off without a redstone dust from the repeater clock. I was thinking calculation a monostable repeater to the repeater clock would set this merely I'g not sure how to go well-nigh doing that, and I could only go this (Click here to see the pic of the monostable repeater) monostable repeater to piece of work when replacing the switch with a block with a button on the side; The monostable repeater didn't piece of work using a lever like the picture shows (I tested the repeater by itself abroad from the self-repairing span of course).
Tips or a method to fix this are basically what I'm looking for, but if it comes to it I tin upload the map and let someone else fix it (Which I would prefer to not accept to do, I'm adamant well-nigh learning at least the nuts of redstone).
Thank you in advance guys, I know there are some serious redstone experts out there and you guys take successfully helped me before.

After looking at the different redstone circuits on the wiki I remember a T-Flop circuit may be able to fix this, not sure where I would link it upwards in the self-edifice bridge circuitry only it'south an thought lol.

I do this: I use a lever with 2 outputs
the 1st output goes through a pulse limiter and and so to the clock (a pulse limiter makes signals merely a few tics long and so information technology's skilful to plow on clocks, look it upwardly here
the 2nd output goes direct to a viscous piston that (when extended) puts a block in front end of one of the repeater of the clock (so that the cake is office of the loop of the clock
and then when u switch the lever on the commencement time u turn on the clock, and when u turn the lever off the piston retracts and cuts the loop of the clock (thus tuning it off). And there u take a switchable clock!

I'll try this and post back up if I have any trouble, cheers though this thought sounds promising.

There's more than efficient cobblestone generators out there that can resolve that result by removing the clock. Redstone torch under spot where the cobblestone is generated at can ability the cake being pushed.. run a wire off that spot to the piston to ability it which volition extend the piston and thus the cobblestone that was powering the wire thus cutting ability to the piston so it retracts once more and then a new asphalt is created and repeats.
Effectively it turns the piston into the clock and so A) you create asphalt faster past having the nearly constructive clock possible and :cool.gif: don't have to worry about restarting a clock. If for whatever reason yous want the ability for information technology to not stay on and regenerate constantly merely run a lever to the block that the torch is on.

Wait so about the block I'll use stuck to a sticky piston should it be on the aforementioned level as the repeater clock (like correct next to it) or above it (like if I put a block onto the same level equally the repeater clock)? As well, exercise I demand to take redstone or a repeater on the cake beingness moved or should it be bare? Sorry to be retarded just I'm not sure how this would piece of work functionally and so it'due south hard for me to empathize how to put it together lol.
Nevermind this, posted this earlier I saw Crackerbear's postal service.

Okay so I created the toggle-able clock as seen in the first prototype and it works and all, but how lol? Why exactly does putting a block next to some redstone wire let the power go along along the circuit?

Your post has not gone unseen, I will try out your tutorial on my single-player redstone testing map afterwards I fix the bridge I take now on my multi-actor server.

Alright I'thousand going to try to add the pulse limiter or whatever it's called to my clock. And DboDesigns' bridge's clock may not stop just it IS stupid fast lol.

Pulse limiters and even that clock with a built-in pulse limiter proceed breaking, equally in they work for a while and then merely stop working. I'm playing on a multiplayer server that I'm hosting on this reckoner if that matters.

Just not getting any electricity output at all.
Here's a picture of the clock non working

This may audio stupid: have u tried switching the lever? from that picture 1st time should practise naught 2nd should start the clockedit: I institute the problem: right click the repeaters of the clock at to the lowest degree twice each
and so information technology should work and if not then set the repeaters to maximum

Here are pictures of a repeater that does work without neglect. Not certain how to use this with the bridge though lol.

Doesn't matter how many times I flip the switch, it never outputs whatsoever electricity :sad.gif:
Edit: Obviously if I supersede both torches on the clock it will emit ONE pulse when the final torch is placed, but later doing this and getting one pulse out, the lever volition not get it to emit a pulse.

I tried that simply still it doesn't work. Non sure why this isn't working, I'm going to go try the clock in singleplayer real quick to see if it works.
Edit: Doesn't piece of work with repeaters on maximum either.

K and so it works fine in unmarried-player, blarglfargl. I'g using the standard minecraft server from minecraft.internet, should I download craftbukkit and move the globe save over to that? Maybe craftbukkit has bug fixes for this stuff because conspicuously bugs are the problem.

I noticed that in your motion picture the repeater of the pulse limiter is set to maximum wile it should be at 3 tics, could that be information technology?

I at present use only piston gates for that aforementioned reason...
but this simple circuit shouldn't burnout
